Akshay Kumar, the famous Indian film actor, was born on 9 Sep, 1967; his original name is Rajiv Hari Om-Bhatia, and nick name is Akki.

Before coming to Bollywood, he worked as chef and waiter in Bangkok, Thailand where he was studying martial arts. He came back to India to teach martial arts, and one of his friends, recommended him to do modeling and offered a lead role for the film Deedar by Pramod Chakravarthy, but his debut movie was Saugandh (1991).

The action hero of Bollywood showed his talent in various comedy flicks, starting from Hera Pheri, followed by Awara Pagal Deewana, Mujse Shaadi Karogi, and many more.

A long road traveled, from a waiter in Bangkok, Akki has come a long way and become one of the most successful actors in Bollywood.
