Parineeti Chopra Wants a Glam Look

The newbie actress, sister of Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti, who is getting appreciation from all around for her latest film, Ishaqzaade, says she is ready to wear a swimsuit (2-piece). The 24-year old actress said she has no imitations and is ready to do an intimate scene too if the script demands.

Parineeti, who started her career with ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ last year, wants a glam chic look, not just the desi girl look. Even in her last release, ‘Ishaqzaade’, she and her co-star Arjun Kapoor had few intimate scenes. She has elated with the appreciation and response for the movie from all around including Yash and Aditya Chopra.

Ishaqzaade collected Rs 16 crore in the very first weekend and it is the fifth biggest opener after Jannat 2, Agent Vinod, Housefull 2, and Agneepath.

SRK to Face Action against his Irresponsible Behaviour After IPL Match

Apparently, SRK got into a scuffle after yesterday’s IPL match, as he tried to barge in, and got into a mêlée with security guards who refused to let him in, after the post-match presentation ceremony had also ended.

MCA officials have disclosed that SRK pushed the security guards, and even abused some MCA & BCCI officials, while the Kolkata camp members divulged that Shahrukh felt offended by the rude response of the security personnel.

MCA officials are planning to launch a police complaint at Marine Lines police station against King Khan, and the repercussions of SRK’s rage could certainly create an ugly scene for him now.

SRK refused to comment on this, when he was contacted by TOI team.

The funniest part of the story is that SRK wasn’t present for the match, and he just wanted to join in the celebrations with his entourage of several children, which sparked the fight.

All we can say it – keep it cool Shahrukh – your team is already doing great, so just chill!

SRK Goes Back to the Old School Romantic Formula for 2012

What is SRK best at? Making Ra-One – eh, jokes apart – hasn’t he been the king of romance, and the very best when it comes to romantic Bollywood flicks? Well, finally it looks like Shahrukh has realized that even his brilliant performance in Don 2 couldn’t do wonders that Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai & DDLJ did!
Yash Chopra is making a directorial comeback with London Ishq, and in the season of Ishq (as you see Ishaqzaade, Dangerous Ishq, song Ishq Sufiyana from the Dirty Picture bagging awards galore, and lots of other ISHQs rocking the box office run!), and SRK is all set to rock the big screens in a romantic Avatar once again. Shahrukh will be seen on-screen for the first time in a lead role with Katrina Kaif, and we can certainly expect a lot from this deadly duo!

SRK-Rohit Shetty collaboration will also focus more on romance than action, and the Chennai Express will be more of a romantic flick with some action packed sequences.
The story-line revolves around a man who travels from Mumbai to Chennai, and just the old fashioned romance as SRK falls for the lead actress – and who is it gonna’ be? Well, rumors have it that Deepika will be seen with SRK once again.
So, let’s see what really happens when the Chennai Express finally goes to the floor during October. UTV Motion Pictures has apparently bagged this deal, when Ronnie Screwvala had a tete-a-tete with SRK during an IPL match in Kolkata.

The Avengers Movie Review

Are you a superhero movie fan and love the concept of how one of them saves your planet from the evil entities? If your answer is yes, then The Avengers brings in a whole lot of fun and thrill as it ensembles power and charisma of 6 super heroes who are brought together to fight an evil force, which wishes to take over the planet earth and bring down the human race. Sounds exciting from the word go? All right then let us see what Joss Whedon, the writer and director of the movie packs in for us, in this power-packed movie bringing in dozens of superheroes.

The 6 Super Heroes Were Well Put In

It takes a marvellous job by a director to not only bring in 6 strong characters but also make them equally visible and equally important. Now this definitely was one of the biggest challenges in front of Joss; at least someone who has watched the movies of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Hawk Eye and Black Widow would definitely understand what we mean here.

They are all very different from each other in all aspects, be it character, behavior, source of power or sense of morality. No wonder most part of the movie is spent trying to show how they finally synchronize with each other, before beating the crap out of one another umpteenth times.

Who Do They Fight Against?

Even though the movie keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout, somewhere you feel a bigger and meaner enemy than Loki (played brilliantly by Tom Hiddleston) should have been conceptualized to trouble the gang of 6 mighty super heroes. Well this might sound a bit cynical to some but didn’t Thor alone side kicked Loki enough in the movie “Thor”? Of course this time Loki was stronger with an “Army”, which starts falling down from up above towards the end of the movie. But haven’t we seen bigger and more ferocious armies in the past? Remember Transformers? Especially the last edition of the trio?

Plot

A piece of stone, something they call as Tesseract is found by NASA and as they perform research operations on the stone, Loki, one of the Demi Gods from Asgard not only manages to snatch away the stone and take Hawk Eye under his control but also threatens and makes his intentions of overpowering human race clear to the combating S.H.I.E.L.D. (played by Samuel L Jackson). This is when S.H.I.E.L.D. decides to call all the super heroes of The Avengers gang one by one and make an invincible army to fight Loki.

The first ones to join are Dr Bruce Banner (who transforms to Hulk only at the time of intermission) and Captain Steve Rogers (Captain America). Of course Black Widow was already with Nick Fury (S.H.I.E.L.D.) in his mission. Then comes the biggie, Tony Stark, The Iron Man who has a slew of personality related issues with others in the clan, especially with Captain America. Now these small confrontations here and there amongst the super heroes are something that you are going to take back home as almost all of them are fun to watch and will last long in your memories.

Did we miss out on any one here? Of course, we did. It’s Thor, step brother of Loki, who falls down uninvited but has almost the same intentions as others, which is to stop Loki from causing mass destruction. No points for guessing that he does have his own share of fights and verbal spats with Iron Man.

So we see that most part of the movie is spent bringing all the protagonists on the same page and indeed its pure entertainment to watch the clashes amongst them.

USP of The Avengers

Apart from the Avengers movie featuring 6 super heroes that engage in some high octane action sequences that you can see in 3D, it’s the flow of the story and some moments that make it an excellent watch. You will fall for almost every single second of scene that features Hulk. The green giant indeed takes it away from others every time he is seen “SMASHING” things around; otherwise the movie is well balanced all through out; so much so that even Black Widow and Hawk Eye who are yet to feature in an individual super hero flick get an equal piece of the pie as the other big guns in the gang. Kudos to the second time director Joss Whedon!

Overall Verdict

It is a must-watch to say the least. You don’t want to miss watching Hulk beat the crap out of the self proclaimed “Demi God Loki”; neither do you want missing Iron Man cheekily make fun of Thor’s attire, referring it as her mother’s drapes. These are just handful of the many histrionics that you would fall in love with; go grab a ticket and have a great time watching it in a theatre near you.

Rating – a definite 4/5!
