Tanu Weds Manu Movie Review
After a flurry of crappy movies I had seen in the past few weeks, finally I got something which wasn’t really bad at all – Tanu weds Manu.

In short, it’s all about the story of London-return Manu (Maddy) who falls in love with Tanu (Kangana Ranaut).
Manu lands back from London, and is taken directly to see a bride, forcibly by his parents.
Initially, he’s very reluctant for marriage, but when he sees Tanu, he falls for her. But, when Maddy goes to see Kangana, she’s drunk (really nice scene!), and doesn’t know that Maddy had approved her.
And, here starts all the drama – there’s nothing much to the story line as such, and I felt it was highly inspired by RHTDM, though I must say that I hardly found any of the songs really moving!
However, as Maddy tries to get Kangana over and again, but she continues not to accept him. And, another bad aspect was the dumb acting of Kangana, which I felt could have been hell a lot better.

Although Diya Mirza didn’t do a fantastic job in RHTDM, she played the role much better than Kangana Ranaut for sure!
Jimmy Shergill didn’t have much of a role in the movie, but he played his part to perfection, and so did Madhavan, though he didn’t get a really compelling sequence of actions, and rather turned out to be a passive yet determined lover who wouldn’t just give up without marrying Kangana.
